The reason we exist is to share. Therefore, we share stories told to us by our ancestors at their knees. We share the culture we have lost and found in dance and music. We share the inner workings of our imaginations through fantastical journeys.
Finally, we share the pain and joy of our history and existence, told first-hand by those who have lived these experiences. Although not monolithic, stories of the lives of Africans in the United States are hauntingly similar.
We share our hearts from our ancestral Mother Africa to the far reaches of the planet. Come and learn our hearts through theatre, music, dance and literature. I promise that you will be renewed, because we are telling our own stories, shining our own lights and living our own truths.
